Students at P.S. 375 in Prospect Lefferts Garden got a virtual history lesson into the life of Jackie Robinson.
The school literally sits on the site of the old Dodgers Stadium, and when PBS announced it would be airing a three-hour documentary about the iconic baseball star, school officials agreed it was about time students learned of Robinson's legacy.
As part of the documentary, a virtual reality experience was created with help from Google.
Students also got a surprise visit from Robinson's daughter, Sharon Robinson, who spoke about her father.
