The
holiday season has officially arrived, prompting residents in Darien to get
first dibs on their Christmas trees.
Noroton
Heights Fire Department is holding a tree sale Friday. They have more
than 800 trees to select from.
Workers
there will trim the trees as needed, bale it and secure it to customers’
vehicles.
The
fire department says they've been doing the fundraiser for over 30 years. Each
purchased tree helps the fire department purchase equipment.
The
fire department say prices have increased because of the pandemic this year,
but all prices vary by tree height.
They
will be open throughout the weekend.
