The man accused of killing a 28-year-old Brooklyn woman in 2012 has been found guilty of manslaughter.
According to prosecutors, 21-year-old Christopher Johnson, of Bed-Stuy, fired the bullet that struck Fatima Gordon while she was just one block away from her home in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
Police say Gordon, who left behind a young son, was not the intended target. Her family says they still struggle with their loss every day, but the conviction will help them heal.
Johnson is expected to be sentenced on Oct. 28.
