City donates bicycles to asylum seekers in New York City Thursday

Bicycles were donated Thursday to asylum seekers throughout New York City.
Mayor Eric Adam's office teamed up with nonprofit organizations Bike New York and Mexican Coalition to hand out the bikes to migrants.
This latest giveaway is part of the city's plan to donate 200 bikes to asylum seekers over the course of the summer.
According to the Office of Immigrant Affairs, the goal of the initiative is to help migrants achieve the American dream.
