City Harvest vows to deliver 75 million pounds of food following reports of increased food pantry visits

Following the release of data indicating a 69% increase in monthly visits to food pantries and soup kitchens, City Harvest has vowed to deliver at least 75 million pounds of food this year.
This comes as prices in grocery stores have risen to a 40-year-high.
With Thursday marking the start of Hunger Action Month, the nonprofit organization hopes to raise awareness for the cause.
