City housing leaders celebrate grand opening of new Brooklyn supermarket

Cypress Hills is welcoming a new independently-owned supermarket that’s coming to a nearby affordable housing development.  
The grand opening brought out officials from multiple New York City housing agencies to celebrate the opening of Finn Fare Supermarket at the affordable housing complex 50 Penn.  
The addition of the grocery store is supporting by the FRESH program, which aims to provide convenient and accessible grocery stores in neighborhoods that are underserved.
