The City Island Nautical Museum opened its doors for the season on Sunday with three new exhibits for visitors to enjoy.
Visitors will find a new sail-making exhibit that shows how sail boats were made in the early 1800s.
Along the way to the other exhibits, they will also find photos from the the early 1900s of what used to be on Hart Island, just a hop away from City Island.
Board members of the museum told News 12 they are happy with the museum's new exhibits on display because they offer a new experience to visitors.
The museum is open to the public every weekend from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. until September.
