City Island community members are venting their frustrations over a proposed park that was anticipated to break ground some 10 years ago.
According to the City Island Civic Association, the Parks Department has delayed work on a proposed renovation to the south end of City Island Avenue due to inter-agency communication problems.
The project is supposed to create a small park with a viewing area overlooking the Long Island Sound.
The Parks Department released a statement saying that work is set to begin in spring 2015.
