Members of the City Council are calling on the NYPD to renew an investigation into the death of a Clinton Hill man who was shot by a police officer.
Army veteran Sham Walker, 49, was fatally shot Saturday at 370 Lafayette Ave. Police say he asked a man, who turned out to be an undercover narcotics officer, to get off his stoop.
Police say although the officer identified himself, Walker hit him and reached for his gun. The firearm then accidentally discharged twice.
However, the Walkers' attorney claims the undercover cop never identified himself as a police officer.
