City’s Board of Elections releases new ranked-choice voting data

These are unofficial results. There are still 125,000 absentee ballots to be counted.

The city’s Board of Elections released new ranked-choice voting data in some of the city's primary races. These are unofficial results. There are still 125,000 absentee ballots to be counted.

Brooklyn Borough President

After 11 rounds, Democrat Antonio Reynoso is at 55.3%, topping Jo Anne Simon, who is at 44.7%. Robert Cornegy has been eliminated.
Bronx Borough President:
Vanessa Gibson is the first candidate to surpass 50%, edging out Fernando Cabrera who got to 47% of the votes after three rounds of ranked choice voting. Nathalia Fernandez was elimanted in Round 3.

Public Advocate

Jumaane Williams has taken a large lead over Anthony Herbert with 70% of the votes.

City Comptroller

Brooklyn Councilmember Brad Lander stands at 51.9%. That's just a slim lead over Corey Johnson who is at 48.1%. Michelle Caruso-Cabrera was eliminated.
The BOE says new totals, including absentee will be announced Tuesday for all races, including the race for mayor.
