Clason Point park-goers say litter remains a problem despite efforts to make sure the grounds are taken care of.
Parks Department representatives told News 12 The Bronx that cleaning crews would be dispatched to control the trash problem following a report that aired over the summer. Garbage such as broken bottles and scrap metal still remain along the Clason Point shoreline despite those claims.
Residents frequenting the park are asking park officials to strengthen the grounds keeping crews to improve the park?s condition.
?This is their park, this is our park, so they should clean it,? says park frequenter Roberto Rivera.
News 12 The Bronx is waiting on a comment from the Department of Parks.
