Class of 2023, listen up! New Jersey waives graduation test after Gov. Murphy signs law
The state's Graduation Proficiency Assessment returned for the last time this past school year.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed a law not requiring the standardized test.
It will still be given, but instead of being a requirement, results will be used to develop proficiency tests for future graduating classes.
