Everyone's heard of the hot dog-eating contest on Coney Island, but a Clinton Hill restaurant hosts a cheesier contest for people to sink their teeth into.
Mac Shack hosted its second annual mac and cheese-eating contest on Saturday.
The competition was divided into age groups, with contests for kids, teens and adults. Competitors got to choose which dish they wanted to chow down on: meat macaroni and cheese or vegetarian.
Owners say they started the contest last year to say thanks to the community for its support.
The winners received gift cards and more free mac and cheese.
