Four clocks above the Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church were broken for two decades. On Friday, the clocks were finally restored and are now ticking again.
The clocks were painted with 24-karat gold
Restoration artist R. Dario Cano says the clocks rusted due to hundreds of years of wear and tear from the city's weather.
Cano says now that the clock is back working, the hope is that it will keep ticking for centuries to come.
