The familiar scent of a Brooklyn coffee shop that?s been brewing beans for more than 50 years is now being considered an odor by some neighbors.
Many residents say that they love the smell of the coffee that comes out of D'Amico's in Carrol Gardens. Others say the stench has finally gotten to them.
News 12 Brooklyn has learned that last week, the Department of Environmental Protection sent an inspector there to inform the owners that a complaint against them was filed anonymously.
D'Amicos' owners say they posted a note on their door asking the anonymous complainer to come forward to discuss the issue.
