Bright, colorful and creative costumes are coming together as Brooklyn kids gear up for this year's Junior Masquerade.
Parents have been hard at working, stapling, gluing and buttoning the elaborate outfits by hand.
The annual festivities happen a week before the West Indian Day Parade, giving young people the chance to celebrate the culture.
