The Eastchester School Board will reconsider to reopen a second polling location, following community backlash.
News 12 reported last week how some residents accused the school board of voter suppression after a measure to reopen the Garth Road polling site failed to get enough votes.
The location was closed during the pandemic, but now there is a petition to re-establish the site.
The board will take the issue up during a virtual meeting on April 12.
