Video of a man apparently abusing two young children inside a subway station in the Bronx has community members outraged and looking to identify the suspect.
News 12 is told the attack happened Friday at around 8:30 p.m. at the Fordham Road train station.
In the video, the man punches one of the boys several times and pulls the second boy’s hair to the point where you can hear him crying and screaming.
It’s unclear how or if the man sitting in between the two boys knows them.
Community members are trying to get the word out as they look to identify the man, saying that if he is capable of doing those acts in public, what is happening when no one is around.
The NYPD tells News 12 they have received the video and are looking into it.
Community leaders are holding a briefing later today to get the word out on the incident to help find the man.
