Members of the East Flatbush community celebrated the life of Money Perkins on Friday night with a memorial.
Perkins was the owner of a laundromat on the corner of Clarendon Road and Schenectady Avenue and was shot and killed in that laundromat in last December.
"I just miss my son and I'll never be the same without him,” said Money’s father, Robert Stroman. “I outlived him… He was a young me. He was strong too."
