Some Bronx residents living at the
Concourse Village housing complex are upset after learning they're about to lose their parking spots in their parking garage today.
Residents tell News 12 they received a letter from management on Friday telling them they have to be out by today or they will be towed because the garage needs serious repairs.
The residents are complaining, saying it was short notice and their needs are not being considered.
Some seniors say not having their car in close walking distance is problematic and dangerous. They're worried finding parking will get even worse.
Residents are now calling on Concourse Village management to provide them with alternatives. They say they can't afford to find new garages.
News 12 reached out to building management to learn more about the situation and if they're providing any assistance to residents, but has not yet heard back.
