New moms have a new option when it comes to breastfeeding at Coney Island Hospital.
The new lactation lounge at the hospital provides chairs, a changing table and a welcoming atmosphere for mothers who need to breastfeed -- or just want to hold their newborns.
In August, Mayor Bill de Blasio signed a new law that requires certain city agencies to provide private rooms for nursing mothers.
