Beer lovers from across the borough took part in the Coney Island Homebrew Competition on Saturday.
A total of 18 brewers brought five gallons of their homemade beers to Peggy O'Neill's bar on Surf Avenue.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the nonprofit arts organization Coney Island USA.
The organizers say they hope the competition will help to draw more crowds to Coney Island during the winter months.
Winners of the competition received prizes including cash and a home-brewing kit.
