Voting is now underway for two Coney Island developments- the Coney Island houses and Coney Island One.

Residents will decide how their buildings will be funded and maintained. They will be provided with three options: joining the New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust, the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together Program or remaining as Section 9.

They may also cast their votes in person during the final 10 days of the election period from Aug. 6 - Aug. 15.

The voting process comes after 100 days of public engagement.
