Several people were injured when a police officer in pursuit of a suspect crashed into a Brooklyn dry cleaner business Tuesday, according to witnesses.
A man says up to six police cars were chasing one vehicle on Avenue A around 4 a.m. He says a Honda, which had the right of way, hit the cruiser when it entered the intersection at Remsen Avenue. The patrol car crashed into the business. Four people were hospitalized in the incident.
Witnesses say police did eventually catch the suspect.
The business owner is assessing the damage and is unsure how much repairs will cost.
