Police have arrested the mother and neighbor of a 2-year-old girl found wandering the streets in Cypress Hills this morning. Authorities say a cab driver discovered the young girl at around 2 a.m. wearing nothing but a diaper at the corner of Euclid and Ridgewood avenues. The child was taken to Brookdale Hospital for observation and is said to be OK. The mother and neighbor both face child endangerment charges. The incident follows a similar case on Saturday in which a 2-year-old boy was found wandering the streets in Midwood.
