A 54-year-old man is facing vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving charges for a crash that happened early this morning.
Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Sterling Street at around 3:30 a.m. The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was coming around the corner when he jumped the curb and hit a pedestrian, police say.
The 35-year-old victim was pinned by the driver's car. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
