Police say a gunman has been charged after an alleged lover's quarrel involving an off-duty officer in The Bronx Thursday morning.
According to authorities, the cop got into a fight with John Moya, his ex-wife's boyfriend. They say Moya got a hold of his weapon and shot the officer in the hand on Middletown Road.
Officials say Moya has been charged with the attempted murder of a police officer, criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
