NYPD officials have identified the suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a fellow officer in Brooklyn early this morning. Police say Lamont Pride, 27, of Greensboro, N.C., shot officer Peter Figoski in the face as he responded to an apartment break-in on 25 Pine St. in Cypress Hills. Figoski's partner was able to chase Pride and arrest him, but the wounded officer later died at Jamaica Hospital in Queens.
