Police say they shot a suspect who was involved in an armed robbery in Ocean Hill Thursday.
Authorities received a call at around 6:45 p.m. from a 15-year-old boy who said someone attempted to rob him at gunpoint. Police officers who arrived at the scene say they spotted the suspect at Howard Avenue and Marion Street holding a semiautomatic pistol.
One of the officers fired two shots at the suspect, hitting him in the torso. The man was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.
