6h agoFamily and friends gathered in Garnerville Friday to celebrate a couple's milestone anniversary.
It was a surprise get-together for Arline and Herb Giller as they celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at Sparky's Diner.
Their family, friends and even elected officials showed up to give the happy couple a number of proclamations from county and town government.
The Gillers shared their love story with News 12 saying they met at a dance and moved a few times before settling into Rockland County over 50 years ago.
The gathering was also a double celebration because it was also Arline Giller's 95th birthday.
