Residents came out in support Sunday to help rebuild a Crown Heights juice shop's outdoor dining shed that went up in flames earlier this month.
Owners of the Nu U Juice Bar came together to raise funds that will go toward the rebuilding of the outdoor dining shed.
Masterminds and chefs behind the day's fundraiser grilled foods and discussed about how integral a part of the community the juice shop really is.
The FDNY says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In the meantime, customers can still get their hands on Nu U's fresh and handmade juices inside the shop.
The owners of Nu U Juice Bar said their products help to heal the community.
They added that despite adversity they currently face, they are not giving up. They encourage residents to come out to the fundraisers every weekend for the next few weeks and to get their hands on some of their delicious juices.
