Crown Heights man arrested for stabbing man in the leg, stealing his laundry bag
Police say a Crown Heights man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 36-year-old man in the leg and stealing his laundry bag.
Officers took 43-year-old Edwin Rosario into custody around noon Tuesday. Authorities say he is accused of carrying out the Jan. 7 attack in front of 1114 St. Johns Place, steps away from Crystal Touch Laundromat.
The pair were involved in an argument just before 8:30 p.m. when Rosario allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the leg.
The 36-year-old suffered a laceration, according to police. EMS took the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he is expected to recover.
Rosario faces assault and robbery charges.
