A mother suspected of smothering her child to death in Crown Heights before jumping in front of a train will be arraigned by bedside, according to police.
Authorities say 27-year-old Sadier Jean Noel, who is in the hospital, faces charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Jean Noel admitted that she held a pillow over her 9-year-old son?s face, killing Knil Jean Noel.
According to the child?s bus driver, the boy was pulled out of school at the end of 2005. News 12 Brooklyn contacted the Administration for Children?s Services (ACS) to find out whether the agency had any contact with the family. ACS would not say whether it was involved in the case, which would be required once a child is missing from school for extended periods of time.
