One of Connecticut's most recognized milk brands is
recalling some of its products.
New Britain-based Guida's Dairy says a small amount of diluted sanitizer made its way into a small batch of half-pint sized cartons dated April 11. Those cartons were distributed to some schools in southern New Jersey. The product was not distributed to retail locations.
Dozens of children were sent to local hospitals as a precaution, but no one was seriously sickened.
The company says the affected cartons are from a very specific batch that was easy to track, and are not available for retail sale.
