Frustrations continue to grow over long lines and delays at the post office in Morrisania.

News 12 first reported customer complaints at the location on East 167th Street earlier this week, but neighbors say things have only gotten worse.

Many tell News 12 they have to wait hours to pick up their mail.

They also say arriving when the post office first opens doesn't make a difference.

A USPS spokesperson says the recent lobby traffic is due to a significant number of packages being held at the location that couldn't be delivered safely. They add they're working to get things back to normal soon.
