A cyclist was fatally struck by a cement truck in Borough Park, police say.
The 53-year-old man was hit by the truck near 16th Avenue and 49th Street just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The truck, driven by a 68-year-old man, and the cyclist were both traveling southbound on 16th Avenue at the time of the crash, according to authorities.
EMS took the cyclist to Maimonides Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the 68-year-old driver of the truck stayed at the scene of the crash.
