Cyclists gathered in Mott Haven Saturday for a food drive scavenger hunt as part of the 6th Annual Bronx Cranksgiving.
The annual food drive that is part scavenger hunt and part bike ride encourages volunteers to purchase as much food as they can and as fast as they can.
Before they hit the road, each of the cyclists received an envelope that contained the rules of the race.
Everyone was challenged to visit at least six supermarkets, but there were bonus points for those who got to all 12 across the Bronx.
When riders reached the finish line, they unloaded their bikes and donated their purchased items to a food pantry at the Broadway family plaza in the Kingsbridge section.
