It was the 1980s at Jones Beach Thursday night - and the heat was on for Squeeze and Hall & Oates at the venue.
Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, original members of Squeeze and authors of the band's songs, ran through a litany of hits with passion and soul. "Black Coffee in Bed," "Tempted" and "Pulling Mussels" had the packed crowd at Jones Beach dancing as if it was 1984.

Hall & Oates were joined by longtime saxophonist Charles DeChant, whose warm lines weaved in and out effortlessly with the rest of the band.  Despite being plagued with some monitor and sound issues, the band held their tight groove during the performance.
The tour will continue at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey on Aug. 13 before heading to New York's Saratoga Springs on Aug. 15 and to the Foxwoods Resorts Casino in Connecticut on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4
