39ds agoIf you're a public employee or work for a 501-C-3, you have a chance to apply for student loan debt forgiveness.
The public service loan forgiveness program was introduced in 2007, allowing for these groups of employees to have their debt forgiven.
You need to work in the public or nonprofit sector and to have already made 120 loan repayments.
The deadline to apply for the program is Monday.
If you need help, you can also visit one of the city's financial empowerment centers for help.
