Rex Heuermann expected to plead guilty in Gilgo Beach serial killings. Here's what you need to know.

The medical examiner ruled today that the woman whose body was found in a vacant Brownsville lot yesterday was strangled to death. According to authorities, the body of a woman in her 40s had been shoved inside a nylon laundry bag and left on Lott Avenue. It's unclear how long she may have been there. The vacant lot where the grisly discovery was made yesterday is adjacent to a school, raising concerns among parents. "I have a 12-year-old daughter that comes this way to get home from school, and it's really nerve-wrecking," says Sheinelle Watson. Meanwhile, community activists are calling on neighbors to report any suspicious activity near the site where the body was found.
