Did you turn your clocks
back? Early this morning marked the end of Daylight Saving Time.
It’s the annual ritual in fall where everyone sets their clocks back one
hour at 2 a.m.
For some, the extra hour of sleep was a blessing. For others, some
doctors say, the change can be very unsettling.
“It is those vulnerable groups
who have depression, anxiety, seasonal effective disorders, or any sleep
disorder or generally any mental health issue, that can be effected,” says Dr. Youssef Hassoun, of
South Oaks Hospital.
Hawaii and parts of Arizona only recognize
standard time.
Two upstate New York legislators have
introduced bills in hope to "lock the clock" and keep standard time -
but that would require others neighboring states to agree along with Congress.
