According to the Department of Education's website, there are just over 150 providers that may still have spots.

While Summer Rising enrollment closed months ago, the Department of Education's website says there are around 150 schools that may still have spots.
Summer Rising, the academic program for students in from kindergarten - 8th grade, kicks off today citywide. City officials say close to 110,000 kids will participate in the program this summer.
The program takes place Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Children with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) may end earlier in the day. The program wraps up in early August but it will be closed this Thursday for the Fourth of July. Depending on their grade, students may have different end dates.
According to the Department of Education's website, there are just over 150 providers that may still have spots. Parents are welcome to join wait lists for their desired programs as the waitlists are used to fill any open seats.
