Dobbs Ferry community comes together to help school security guard battling COVID-19

The Dobbs Ferry community has come together to help a school security guard battling COVID-19, and now, he has opened his eyes for the first time since entering the ICU.
Panton Adams is a security guard at the Master's School, but has been on a ventilator for the past two weeks because of COVID-19.
His wife, Crecencia Spencer, tells News 12 that the father of two has finally opened his eyes again.
Parents, teachers and students have been promoting a GoFundMe page set up to help Adams' family. More than $31,000 has been raised to help with medical costs and rehabilitation.
Spencer says she is not sure where her husband got infected, but that he was religious about wearing masks and still wants to stress the importance of everyone wearing them.
