Most parents left a special hearing at Brooklyn Tech satisfied tonight as the Department of Education's Panel for Educational Policy voted to gradually merge Bronx Success Charter School with P.S. 55 Benjamin Franklin.
Parents who argued in favor of the merger say the charter school gives their children more space to learn and they have noticed better academic results from their children.
The DOE also voted to merge Mott Hall III with P.S. 110 Theodore Schoenfeld into one building in Claremont.
