Police say they fatally shot an aggressive dog while responding to a 911 call Wednesday afternoon in East Flatbush.
Police say at around 1 p.m. they encountered an aggressive dog at 562 East 29th St.
Neighbors say that dog may have been attacking people and that police discharged several gunshots - at least one of those bullets struck and killed the dog.
When News 12 arrived at the scene, there was a large police presence at the residential street, and it was being taped off for the investigation.
Police say they are still gathering information. They say they are looking for one suspect involved in this case and are not confirming any information on what that person’s role was at this time.
News 12 is also told a victim was transported to the hospital with injuries.
