A dog owner is hoping for a Christmas miracle after her one-year-old dog went missing late Saturday night.
Lily the dog, a Shitzu mix, went missing around 8 p.m. in the Flatlands.
The usual dog walker was taking Lily and four other dogs out for a walk when she passed out. Three of the dogs took off running, including Lily.
Meredith McNaughton, Lily's owner, says she was in New Orleans with her family for Christmas when she got a text that the three dogs were missing.
She says she cut her trip short, and all she wants for Christmas is for Lily to come home safe.
