A Dominican group is moving to The Bronx and bringing the colorful sights and sounds of a fiesta with it.
The Dominican Cultural Project held a carnival for kids at Lehman College ahead of its transition from Manhattan in an effort to serve the borough's growing Dominican population.
Attendees say the event helped many youngsters reconnect to their Dominican roots. The organization also plans to offer dance classes in the near future.
