The city's Department of Transportation has agreed to residents' demands for a traffic light at a dangerous intersection in the Columbia Street Waterfront District.
Residents say the intersection of Columbia and Carroll streets has become increasingly unsafe for the developing hub.
They say having a traffic light will make it safer for new young families in the one-time industrial area.
The traffic light is scheduled to be installed in September.
