Street lights in Prospect Park that had been broken for the past few weeks have reportedly been fixed.
The Dashing Whippets Running Group says they noticed seven broken lights in the park that made long stretches of the paths dark and dangerous.
The Department of Transportation tells News 12 that they address reports of lighting outages in parks as they get them and complete any repairs as soon as possible.
The DOT adds that they did recently fix several light issues in Prospect Park.
