1h agoDough Doughnuts in Prospect Heights prepared plenty of sweet treats to serve to their customers Friday for National Doughnut Day.
Steve Klein, the owner of the shop, says they have spent a lot of time using their doughnuts to spread love amid the pandemic.
He says the shop delivered doughnuts to hospitals, first responders and to homeless shelters.
"We just felt rewarded that we could do that and contribute to the food shortages that everyone was having,” Klein says.
Dough Doughnuts also has locations in Manhattan and Queens.
